Portugal

2 months spent travelling a country from which my grandparents emigrated

With no prior desire for exploration,

I left with feelings of longing to soon return.

Portugal; bright yellows and reds, smiles, cheap wine and beer

Strangers inviting you for dinner, everyone is welcome; laughter and sounds of Fado all around

Loneliness is alien to this country – one is never truly alone.
